About
MEET MARGARET
Margaret Schnieders has always been drawn to making complex systems run smoothly. She began her career as a stage manager in professional theater, coordinating productions and ensuring every detail was in place. Since then, she has applied those same organizational skills to roles in banking, nonprofit food systems, farm management, and retail.
Her background includes:
-
Managing CSA programs for local farms
-
Supporting nonprofits focused on sustainable agriculture
-
Working in produce operations at Whole Foods
-
Evaluating grants and investments for her family foundation
-
Serving on the board of a local beverage company
-
Working with Circus Juventas to organize silent auctions and manage administrative operations
Margaret holds a BA in Theater Arts and Stage Management from Earlham College and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, where she focused on sustainable agriculture and food distribution.
Based in St. Paul’s Highland neighborhood, Margaret is a busy mom of two (plus two dogs!). She loves knitting, cooking, organizing even the smallest details (like Legos!), and finding balance between staying active and winding down with a good television show.
